Edge placement
Place the four top edges to finish the cube. The corners are already placed: to match the case orientation, turn the whole cube, never the top face. A single algorithm is enough, repeated following the case you get.
The basic situations
Hold the cube as the hint says, then apply the formula. In the app, every formula is animated on a virtual cube.
Three edges, to the right
Turn the whole cube to put the edge that is already placed at the back. The front edge must go to the right, the right one to the left, the left one to the front.
